    Default TV shows

We have a movies thread, so here's a TV thread. Recommended shows you are currently watching or have watched and would recommend.

We all know the major ones so I'll try to post newer stuff.

Just finished 'Impulse' based on the movie 'Jumper'. I liked it

Have watched the 1st 3 eps of 'Sharp Objects' it's a little dark but has me intrigued so far.

I am America, Sacha Baron Cohen's new show, I love his comedy and how he makes people look stupid.

Is that based on the Gillian Flynn book? I thought there had already been a film version of that (or was that Dark Places?)

Good book it was, I might have to have a look at that if it is the Gillian Flynn version, the two books of hers that I've read were pretty fucking dark so it sounds like her.

Not sure mate, had Amy Anderson (one of the best actors around imo) in it, some dark themes, potential serial killer with 2 teen girls turning up dead, alcoholic tendencies, cutting, suicide.

Sounds about right, I'll take a look at it if it's on showbox

I watch 24 hours in Custody which is excellent real life tv series in a police station in Luton.

Love Big Bang Theory and getting into Young Sheldon.

My partner loves Big bang, haven't really got into young Sheldon.

Need to finish Luke Cafe season 2 and Legion season 2.

I have also been watching Marvels Cloak & Dagger.

Watching Prison on channel 4. Clever the way they pass drugs, mobile phones and weapons in prison.

Ever watch 'Oz' Master? As far as weekly tv shows it's very sparse right now. Really other than TWD I've not followed anything week to week that I can think of. That's about to change also with them killing off the main lead next season . Been an interesting 8 yrs.

I watched and loved Oz, first time I ever heard of a guy getting breast cancer. The Irish brothers and the big African dude were my favs.

Plus the guy from Lost in the wheelchair always had some nice quotes and logic around humanity. Quality show.

Prison, brutally brilliant show when it first came out. Tons of good actors did time on it .

Loved Adebisi, even named a rescue dog after him . They really cut the actor short with role on 'Lost'.

Adebisi, that's it. And the main white guy (I think he was the main guy or the guy from Lost was) man he had it tough.
