WBO orders Sergey Kovalev vs Anthony Yarde

I hope this fight happens. But Warren may not be willing to put Yarde in with Kovalev, although Yarde will turn 28 in a few weeks so he's unlikely to get much better than he is now.

From what I gather, Yarde is really good and a bit like a young David Haye, is he not? Be a good fight I’d say as Kovalev has diminished a bit but has also rekindled his hunger for the sport.

Yarde has comfortably beaten his opponents but this would be a big step up.

Yarde is probably not even the best in the country but I would love to see him take on Kovalev this year.

Yarde should take the risk and fight Kovalev.

If he wins, he's a world champion and will make a lot of money in his next fight. If he loses, he's young enough to come back and become a mandatory in a couple of years. Either way, he raises his profile.

I hate the boxing culture to where people aren’t ready to fight for a title. Yarde should just take the risk and if he loses then he has time to get better. With that said, I think Kovalev beats him pretty easily. But with that said, at this point of Kovalev's career I am not certain on his mindset for any fight.

I think the implication is that he has arrived and everyone should be scared

I was being facetious. It should be “THE Lion’s in the camp.” But the way they say it ,is like “there are Lions in the camp.”
You both might think I’m being a dick , but the point is that they are trying so hard to give him the “USP” that they fuck it up due to the lack of a grasp of the Language. Thick fucking idiots. (I mean Them, not you 2.......although)

How do you know he isn’t on a Safari or something? Maybe that’s the last you’ll ever hear from him....

Anyone would comfortably beat plumbers and sparkies.

To jump into a Kovalev fight after his competition is crazy.

Let’s hope he proves everyone wrong and takes the challenge.

Seems a bit early for Yarde but hey if he wants some than rumble young man rumble. I think Kovalev does a number on him right now. With Beterbiev just coming to terms with Top rank and espn I'd love to see that one more.

Is 'Lions in the camp' anything like Algieri 'coming out of his cage'

Uncle Bob's commentary on the propsed fight is something

The gist of it being that Yarde has agreed terms to fight in Russia. No not Christmas, and he will get paid.

Massive massive leap in class. If Yarde can pull this off it'll be up there with anything you care to mention.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
