Default Network Bidding War For Golovkin Set To Take Place After Canelo Rematch

If Golovkin wins on Saturday he has hit the Jackpot as it's his last contracted HBO fight.
He'll be pitched massively by DAZN/Hearn, ESPN/Arum, FOX/Haymon and HBO will do well to keep him given the latest budgets these new deals have given the promoters.

GGG must be rubbing his hands together already because he's in touching distance of becoming a global mega star and earning serious amounts of money $$$$$

I can't believe he only got 35% the first time he fought Canelo. At least he's getting 45 now. However even though now he is home free after this fight seriously how many more really good fights do you think he has left in him? At the championship level I can't see more than two

Hope Golovkin gets to be the superstar he deserves to be and becomes a household name in the US after he beats Canelo. I agree Golovkin does not have too long left in the game at the highest level and like Hagler he will only be rated as an ATG after he retires.

Unfortunately he is passed his prime days and won’t be at the top level for long

I hope he fights the best guys and gets paid handsomely. But I think he’s ready to cash out not cash in. Really hope to be wrong though.

I think the best fights would bring him the most $$$. The Jacobs/ Derevyanchenko winner, is a tough fight but 1 of the top paydays at 160, Jermall is another tough one, but I'd see both getting paid well. Groves at 168 would also be another tough one, but good money. Saunders, tough fight with good money involved.

I guess GGG could look at 'easier' money fights like Murata, tell will pay him well, but it could also be more difficult than expected.

Maybe Ramirez or Uzcategui at 168, for less money, but also less risk.

If he can stay around for at least 3 big fights (Saunders, The Jacobs/ Derevyanchenko winner, Groves or maybe Jermall) he can define his legacy.

Tom Loeffler has done a great job for Golovkin, if HBO don't resign him they really must be giving boxing the boot.

Not sure why you guys care so much about how many millions a millionaire will make in future, but whoever Golovkin fights he wont make as much as he has with Canelo, who's worth more than all the other middleweights put together.

I don't care how much these guys get, but they do risk their lives for our entertainment. When a cheater like Canelo or a guy like Broner are getting paid well, GGG deserves some good paydays.

If the fight is close we may get a 3rd fight. Canelo will still bring big $$$.

Do not want to see a 3rd fight. Even a close Golovkin win will do and he moves on.

Canelo will always make money whoever he fights.

No I wouldn't want to see a 3rd unless it was controversial. But a if it was close it would probably make GGG the most money, which I could see him taking.

He's waited on Canelo this long. He wants the biggest purses possible at this stage of his career.

I think there comes a point where his dignity and pride will tell him that it would be better to take on other challengers.

There could be more money in the fight later on with Canelo anyway when the appetite and situation with other challengers is improved.

Fuck Canelo, Golovkin needs to batter him so there's no doubt who won then go after Saunders and do what he said he was going to 3 years ago.
Clean up the division if he can beat Saunders that is.
I'm expecting a shootout on Saturday... all out war till someone drops 👊🏻
