Prize Fighter -Local Version

Not sure if anyone one else has this Locally?

The other weekend in Plymouth, we had a 6 man prizefighter and three MMA fights between local lads. Was a real good night.

The guy who won the tournament didn't look like sharpest boxer, but fuck me could he punch! The guy he beat in the final was fighting his first ever competitive fights that night.

All the videos are here, it was three 2 minute rounds and most of them ended by KO!

They did one before with no weight limit, check out the final fight and the guy that won, bit of a difference in size (but clearly size doesn't always matter!)

Just watched the final fight? It doesnt show the decision but Looking at it id say the short stocky lad wan, in the red shorts?

I bet no officials from any boxing club were involved. The ABA wont allow their members to get involved with that. Theres a crowd about to start a white collar type thing over here and because they arent involved in any official organisation, the bouts and fiters arent going to be insured. Hopefully it doesnt end in tears. I have seen other shows where they put on "boxing" bouts and youcan see from the jumpy refs that they have no experience.

The ref was pretty good, but yeah it was a little rough. There were more fights outside the ring than in it!

Apparently the small stocky lad was a gypsy fighter! No one fancied him when the fighters were introduced, but had one hell of a punch.
