As his hair receded he became less rock n roll and more pipe and slippers.

Next you will say Steve Davis was interesting.

Even when he become the most boring thing you could watch on TV it used to amuse me how much it would wind everyone up, especially Ronnie.

If you said you enjoyed Higgins, White or Sullivan I would understand but you have to have a quirky taste to like Ebdon.

    Yeah I'm pretty weird mate.

Even weirder when I was a ten year boy with Ebdon as a sporting hero.

Got rid of sky sports about 4 years ago now on the back of me starting to hate the professional footballers of today who didn’t seem to try for our country.

I now watch about 2 premier league games a year and don’t miss it at all. . Not seen even one champions league game since it went off itv.

I guess I just watch darts now for the big tournaments and snooker whilst o Sullivan is still in the tournament. Not really a fan of any of any other player.

    I used to wa5ch everything....sigh.....

I love all sports, played most of them, when I was a kid I was mad for footy like every kid ever. Now if it ain’t Italy or an Italian Side (preferably Napoli), I couldn’t give a fuck. Still class myself as a Leeds fan, so I might get more interested if they go up.
But when I went to senior school and started playing Rugby, that was it! It’s always been my Sport, but my big regret is that I would love to have gone into the ring for one fight. There is no individual sport anywhere that can compare mentally or physically.

I don't watch the Premiershite either. When I can afford to I will go and watch Plymouth a few times a year, (away is always fun even now as an old twat) and in the football league the real beating heart of football is still there, even when the quality can be all over the place. Never stopped watching England either but under Southgate no longer have to do so thru gritted teeth as a bunch of Divas play like they are entitled to be given decisions on a plate. Can't replace that rush when your home team or England score against the odds and run of play, and you and your mates are pissed up and all in it together. 30+ years of it and it's longer than a lot of marriages, and more ecstatic and devotional than many religions.

I need @palmerq in here (but only if he votes American football ). The other sports are starting to pull away on the poll, and I'd venture to say no one but me here (and palmerq) will actually be watching the Super Bowl next Sunday.

Lyle swore off the NFL (doesn't like the new rules). Spicoli? Yeah... he'll watch. Ryanman? Didn't think he would. Rhun sure, but he doesn't post here anymore so we don't get his vote.

Oh... and walrus. I'm assuming he'll watch too.

Walrus will only watch if Manny Pacquiao is playing.

Yep I will definitely watch. Have watched for the last 10 years or so. Far from an expert but it's a good sport. Gives plenty of time for drinking too which is good.
