Default Boxing to be removed from Olympics?

This doesn't look good, Boxing should always feature at the Olympics as it's one of the oldest sports in it.

“The IOC reserves the right to review the inclusion of boxing on the programme of the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018 and the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.”

    The statement also noted:

“We are extremely worried about the governance in AIBA.”

AIBA have got to get their act together. There is corruption right at the top, but that said you can hardly hold up the Olympic comitee as paragons of virtue. I don't think they will drop it, but if they do, it will be the grassroots and future of boxing that will be punished, not the dodgy fellas at the top. I agree with the BBBOC that the idea that pros should be allowed to compete, will not only undermine the whole ethos of the Olympics, but render the amateur apprenticeship meaningless. It's a mess. Will have a huge impact on British boxing too after the great leaps and bounds we have made since London. Nightmare scenario.

Perhaps if they re-name it amateur boxing? Then at least we will all know its dodgy and make allowances.

The libtards with have it replaced by pillow fighting , then when they decide that is to dangerous , you will have 2 boxers in opposite corners and they will be sending leaflet campaigns to each other saying why they should be given the verdict.

So, this female Russian boxer goes to her team doctor because she is worried that she has taken too many steroids.

"Doctor, I think I'm growing a penis because I have taken so many pills and drugs"

    "Anabolic?" Asked the doctor

"No, thank goodness, just a dick at the moment"

During the Chinese Olympics hundreds of thousands of poor Chinese were evicted and forcefully removed from their homes. It was a nightmare for these people. The Olympic committee knew it would happen and gladly let it happen. So now they give a shit about a couple guys who choose to dedicate life to the sport. What a bunch of bull shit. The entire Olympic system is corrupt to the core. It's a shame. I say ban the olympics.

Agreed, Olympics are as corrupt as FIFA and cause suffering for hundreds of thousands. Just watch the way the Russians killed all those dogs and that alone should be enough. But then you get to those evicted to build Olympic villages and so on, actual human suffering that we can't comprehend

I said it, mr Swanson agrees, that settles it. Yes Ron I meant to come back and talk about the Russia thing. I think the governing body of the olympics is so powerful and has so much money they just do what they want. So yeah, lets dislocate a million people and screw up their lives but no no we can't risk a couple guys getting hit in the head. They shouldn't freeze the water in the skating rinks because it's too hard. Get rid of those steep hills for skiing someone could get hurt. They make billions but the athletes can't wear an sponsors logo, u can't make this shit up.
