    Default Groves vs Johnson

I'm picking Johnson to win by ko or stoppage.

I think it will be far harder than it's supposed to be for Groves. I have Groves via close/controversial decision.

Bookies have Groves 1/7 for the win (too big) and 8/11 for points (good bet).

I agree, but it'll be the toughest fight either him or DeGale will have had, which is essentially what both their careers are based on now. They will never be seperated.

I think Groves will have the stamina advantage obviously, but I don't think he can stop Johnson.

If he wins, advantage Groves, what you got DeGale?

    I dont.

Look at the Bute fight, he was too petrified to throw anything. In his last fight he lost by a mile to a nobody at light heavy and is now having to drop back down to super middle. Groves should be able to run rings around him. Johnson has taken this for the cash, he retired a few months ago. Groves will get a stoppage over a name that will look good but realistically, Johnson is a shell and Groves will still be fragile. Id see Froch stopping Groves. Iv seen someone mention Groves has good stamina but against who?

I think groves will stop him late on. And I agree it will be a good name on his record but we will not know anything new about George groves. Problem for groves and degale in this weight class is it's such a huge jump in class when you Start talking about the big names like ward, froch, Kessler

    Groves isn't bute!
And Johnson fucked his arm up in that fight early so he only had the jab!
The polish guy is a quality fighter that would stop groves.
I like groves but Johnson can cut him easy and pressure him to hell.

Johnson is getting stopped. He is coming down in weight and Groves is a better fighter than the polish lad who has a couple of losses.

Groves does mark up cuts etc, he has a good dig Johnson is past his sell by date but he can punch a bit,
I can see it being tough but Groves wins on points.

Groves will win a wide points decision. No way he stops Johnson, he's a road warrior.

    Who is he?

Groves wins points, I hope he does not get injured in the fight and can press on to bigger and better things.
