Arright, now I used to like Oscar -cheered for him in the Olympics and all that, but HBO and all the gift decisions he's gotten have pretty much turned me against him.
HOWEVER, mayorga is scum (I've decided I'm not even going to capitalize his name anymore) and I wish Oscar would end his career in a too-horrible-to-even-watch
manner.

That would be too good to be true though, so I'll go with Oscar jabbing his way to a decision.

I think Oscar will win, but it don't really matter to me who wins. I just want to see 2 guys who don't like each other go at it. I hope some of the fight resembles Tito-Mayorga. That would be great, and win or lose, would earn some more respect for Oscar. Not that I don't think he's great, but I'd like to see him go balls to the walls one time.

very true, although Whitaker was very close and I had him beating Quartey, Sturm is the only close fight i honestly thought he lost, but he was screwed against both Mosely (in rematch) and against Trinidad, in the Mosely fight he was screwed out of a potential third fight, and he was never given a rematch against Tito

I the totally the opposite of you, I hate Dela Hoeya, And I hope Mayorga knocks him the fook out. But I do agree with you that racial comments are stone aged. But I think if Dela Hoya boxes him and sticks to this plan...He will win, But if he decides to brawl he could have a early night complements of Mayorga.

De La Hoya is one of the best fighters of this era and he's one of the classiest fighters out there, so don't see how you can hate em
