Tried a search but couldnt find what i was looking for.
Recently I have joined a boxing gym. After going a few times the gym have decided they want to put me in a fight in about 5 months. Anyway, the gym have decided that light welter will be my fighting weight, and they have asked me to get to 66kg ( currently weigh 74ish).
Losing weight should be a doddle. but, i am wondering if anyone can give me some ideas for strength training without gaining too much muscle?
I would ask my coaches but I train in japan and my Japanese isnt good enough to pick up the schedule in detail ,and i also want to hear ideas from other fighters/ trainers.
A quick note, i have fairly powerful/large thighs so I am looking for upper body ideas mainly.
