I love the Pet Shop Boys. For me the boys represent all that can be lovely and shiny in pop music. Lady Gaga? Go away. Justin Bieber? Stick your head in the oven. The Pet Shop Boys may be old men, but they have been a beacon of light for nigh on 30 years and their last album is as fresh as their first. Furthermore, I like the lyrics. The Pet Shop Boys are like Morrissey in a frilly pink dress without those guitar things.

Who else likes the Pet Shop Boys? I love them and don't care if that makes me sound like a ghey.

I mean how gay is this, but I love it. You have the upbeat gay anthems and then you have the electro camp weepy tunes. I like a bit of camp.

They have some decent campy 80's tracks that I enjoy from time to time but I couldn't listen to a whole album from them. I'd prefer Simple Minds from that time/genre. I can totally see Miles in his Flock of Seagulls outfit dancing and lip synching around his apartment while the wife looks on in horror.
