    Default Did Timothy Bradley retire?

He hasn't fought in over a year, he has no fight scheduled. What's going on with him?

Hopefully he continues to fight. I still remember that fight he had with Provonikov. What a fight that was...

I would like to see him fight Cotto though. I think their styles could possibly mix well and provide a nice scrap.

I can only assume he must be injured as he is normally an active fighter or he could be seeing out his contract with Arum which could pave the way for fights with Al Haymon's stable.

I love watching Bradley. but I don't think he's injured, I reckon he's been looking for big money fights only . and they're just not materializing . he was offered a final eliminator the other day apparently and wasn't interested.
as much as I like him , I have to be consistent and say that he's not acting much differently to Khan unfortunately.

Crawford vs Bradley would be alright but Bradley hasn't been active enough recently to make that be a big time fight.

This is it. He's made enough and appear to be one of the few boxers who has actually invested his money wisely and not blown it, no divorces, no fifteen million kids to pay for for the next decade and a half. He's just sitting there waiting for the right size cheque to materialise but Top Rank have limited dates available from HBO and need to keep guys like Crawford happy so he's kind of on the shelf. Possible fights are JMM and Cotto if Arum can be persuaded to deal with the other promoters.

Thing is inactivity doesn't bring big fights. At this point if he wants a big fight he has to take a fight to remind everyone he's around.

He's exactly the opponent top guys should want(except not being a draw) he's respected and beatable.

Always one for guaranteed action and like his approach but if I'm honest I cannot picture a scenario where he lives with the top tier welters this point. Crawford or Spence would both punch holes thru him. He's content and deserves it.

Haven't read anything about it, perhaps he's on something and that's why we haven't heard about him lately or as it has been metioned, he's chasing some wild goose he hasn't seen yet.

He's waiting for a money fight. The Cotto fight should be a natural to make at this point.

    1. Despite all his bullshit, Khan has never wanted it.
    2. Khan isn't big enough money in the States despite what HE says.
It's quite nice seeing Khan squirming around talking about Brook now because the penny has dropped that he has no other money alternatives.
The only problem is, that if Brook loses Saturday, I think Khan could be next for him.
Yet another reason to want a Brook victory. That way, maybe, just maybe he would tell Khan to go fuck himself.

If Brook wins he is more likely to fight Khan. Easy money for Kell in comparison to the people he would have faced.

Would be sad to give away such momentum with an easy payday.

Easy and payday are 2 nice words for a boxer who has had to go through Spence and GGG. I think Kell would deserve it.
