    Default Anyone see Mayorga's uppercut

That had oscar out on his feet in third round but ricardo chose to stand in front of oscar for about twenty seconds and let oscar recover...then it was over after that...mayorga is dumb...

Watch it in slomo and you will see that it didn't land flush. It was a good punch that was a little off, and it didn't hurt ODH to much.

that was mayorgas best punch of the fight. so what if it was a lil off, all of mayorgas punches are lil off cuz hes so wild and unorthodox. u got to give OSCAR props for his head not coming off with that uppercut. this shows Oscar's chin is better than his liver

Mayorga's best punch, didn't have ODH "out on his feet" he backed up, then attacked again like nothing had happened

I got to agree with Lyle and co here, the punch 'buzzed' him, but he was hardly 'out on his feet'

i've already watched it three times..he was out...yeah recovered, because mayorga didn't throw anything else...he was clearly gone for those ten or twelve seconds and had mayorga threw some more punches delahoya probably would have fallen...but again before it even gets started I'm not a mayorga fan trying to make something out of nothing(I.e. Judah fans)...i just wanted to see if anyone else noticed it...

Again before it gets started...I picked Oscar to stop this guy...

I just wanted to see if anyone else saw the uppercut and the damage it did to Oscar....

Mayweather is gonna be hard to beat but maybe ODH or Mosley have better shots at him than I thought. 1 thing for sure, Floyd won't be able to KO Oscar!

It was a good uppercut, but nothing more. Mayorga did not come in as hungry or in the kind of shape he promised. Nor did he train, or listen, or something, I mean shat how could he not know that left hook was coming? I dunno...this is just a horrible loss...and hurts me pretty bad. Been a tough year for me with Jones losing again to Tarver, Lacy gettin dominated, Peter bein outboxed by Wlad, Toney bein flat, and Judah losing to Maywhether. This though, was just a MAJOR DISAPOINTMENT. Mayorga should really consider hangin them up or maybe seeking one last fight with Vargas...I dunno. Just sad...

He would IMO, however it would be more competitive than I thought if Mayorga came in in the kind of condition he did last night. "I weigh 170 lbs bitch", I didn't like that remark. It showed he was depending too much on his pure size, and he hadn't trained as hard as he had promised. I dunno anymore...that was a horrible and embarassing loss, I mean, he barely did any better than Gatti and Yory Boy, and thats just horrible...

Hmm. It's been a tough year but you are picking the wrong fights that make it so!
    Hopkins-Taylor I and II
    Hatton-Tszyu

Those are the fights that make a person sad. ODLH-Mayorga was as it should be. Wlad-Peter ditto; Peter is under-skilled. Mayweather-Judah was good and proper. Jones-Tarver ... yeah, it was sad to see that one repeated but not the heartbreak that Hopkins-Taylor was. Lacy's loss - it is hard to be sad about something that is so definitely right. He was so out-classed that it would have been a farce and not "moved boxing forward" (ask Starr what that means, I dunno) had Lacy somehow got that victory.

There's plenty to be sad about, but ... you're sad for all the wrong reasons, bro!

Lacy Calzaghe would have moved boxing forward no matter who won. it was a fight to move boxing forward. Like Mayweather Margarito would be. Mayweather Delahoya, at the end of the fight if Mayweather wins, he is right in the same situation he was in after beating Judah, and it wouldn't do a thing for the Welterweight division would it? not like Calzaghe Lacy did for the Super Middleweight one
