Recently there has been some movement in this division. I just wish they would mix it up some more.

Wlad now has a big responsibility to try and prove himself THE World Champion. He may be the #1 fighter of the moment, but that is not the same thing.
He is the only one IMO, capable of clearing the mess that is the Heavyweight division up. He has the physical tools to do it, he now needs to prove he has the mental make-up, to become the man.
It is very important to the long term mainstream viability of the sport, that we have an Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, and certainly in the short to medium term, IMO Wlad is the only fighter who could do this.
James Toney is just to small to dominate this division even know he has shown alot of heart. This is one of the poorest divisions in boxing that is at an all time low. Wlad will dominate this division under Emmanuelle Steward, but he has a suspect chin so he may want to stay away from the "mix it up" thing.
It's not Toney's size, it's the fact that at that size you have to posses power in your punching (David Tua) or else drop to another division.Originally Posted by gbrandon
Wlad has a difficult road ahead of him because he's not with Don King like Brewster, Valuev, Lyakhovich, and other top heavies who DK doesn't want beat
Wlad is by far the best boxer in this joke of a division.
It's only a joke because no one is fighting anyone good.Originally Posted by LarryB

Well right now, Heavyweight only has Wlad to brag about(thought Peter dropped him a number of times during their match). I remember someone posting a Heavyweight tournament where all contenders and champs compete. Playoffs Style. I wanna add another bracket for the west but Hasim's the only champion right now.
1. Wlad(champ)
8.
2. Hasim(Champ)
7.
3. Nikolai(champ)
6.
4. Serguei(Champ)
5.
