Joppy was a good fighter! Good question what the fook did happen to him!
Still dislike him for what he did to Duran, I had tears in my eyes that night. I couldnt believe what I was seeing.
But then applauded what Tito did to him with great JOY!!!
it's hard to return after big fights (Losses)...Originally Posted by body head banger

I know what ur saying, but really it's Duran's fault 100%... What the hell was he doing challenging a middleweight champion at 50 yrs old or whatever he was, it's ridiculous, and Joppy only did what he could... What was he supposed to do, show some pity, let Duran get some punches off and then hold back on him... Every boxing fan would instantly say, he sucks, he struggled with a ghost. It's just like Leonard Norris, Ali Holmes... only the comebacking fighter is to blame, they have to known that it's over.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Joppy was a force when he was primed before Trinidad and he let himself down in that fight because he let overconfidence get the better of him by always dropping his hands.
Joppy has been a beaten fighter since Hopkins. He is top 10 but is a stepping stone
To tell the truth I would rather see Duddy fight Joppy then Campos
It was all Don King's fault for making Joppy-Duran. He used Duran for his name, knowing he had no chance to win. Duran has always been a fighter, so I he took the fight. And Joppy did what he had to do. Which is beat Duran's ass. He can't be knocked for that. This fight should of never been made. But it was. And it was made by Don King.Originally Posted by p4pking
