Ya I agree. The KO is probably in the back of his mind, but I doubt he would fight anyone he is scared of.
How much UFC and MMA do you guys watch? Tito has clearly shown he is scared of Liddel since before the first fight. All that crap about being such good friends they shouldn't fight, and he's not gonna fight Liddel. Then he fought scared and got KO'd come fight night. Then bout a year later, after he barely beat a guy, he should have stopped, when asked who he wants to fight next he goes "I dunno, maybe I'll make Shamrock my bitch again, or take the winner of Coutre vs Liddel II and kick their ass". Right after that both Ken and Chuck came into the octagon and Liddel got up in Ortiz's face, was given a mic, and said "You don't want any part of me, I'll knock you the fuk out again". And Ortiz was visibly scared, and just kinda smiled and tried to ignore Chuck. He's scared all right.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

No he didn't. Tito said "I'll be right here" And Liddel said "You'll never get into the ring with me again" And Tito said "Yeah and you'll get your time and I will prove that you are the last of the Mohegans"

He was also at the weigh in for one of Liddel's fights flashing a contract he already signed for the winner of that fight.

Aside from that him and Ortiz are still best friends so why would Tito be afraid of Liddel?

Actually Hulk, its known around the MMA know that Chuck and Tito are best friends. Dana tried to hype that the friendship was over for the first fight but they were still best friends and still are best friends.

They shared a home and trained with each other when they were both trying to get big. So I doubt that just because Dana is trying to make it seem like their enemies to hype thi fight that they ended any friendship. Chuck and Tito were best friends for a loooong time, I seriously doubt its over.

Why do you think Chuck was about to jump out of his seat during the second round of the Belfort Tito fight? Because Belfort was pummeling Tito on his back and thats Chucks best friend.

Their friendship isn't over, this is just fight hype.

Chuck didn't think they were such good friends when he wanted to fight the first time. It was Tito who was using their friendship as an excuse not to fight Chuck.

If you ask me, the fact that they both lived together for a while makes it even more likely that they are NOT best friends. My best friend moved into my apartment with me for a year later. Haven't talked to him since the lease ended and we went our seperate ways :P Living with someone, ESPECIALLY a good friend, puts a huge strain on the relationship.

How the first Ortiz v Liddel fight would have eventually played out was short circuted when Tito caught a thumb in the eye and was basically blinded and obviously rattled. Getting thumbed can be even more disrupting than an errant knee to the frank n beans.

I think it was only a matter of time before Liddel caught Tito back then anyway but it's a new day. Tito has looked very focused and I think he knows that this is his final climb for the mountian top if he loses. As for the Griffin fight - Tito had a partially torn tendon in the knee so it had quite a bit to do with his ability to finnish that fight.

Bottom line - Liddell KO 4

And Dana will need to go outside the organization if he hopes to find anyone that can really give Chuck a run for his title. Unless rick Franklin gets back on track and moves up to 205 - he and Anderson Silva are the only guys I can see that might be able to strike with Chuck.

Well, he just got rampage (205er, and has already beaten Chuck once back in Pride) and Heath Herring (HW, who could probably make the drop to LHW) who are both pretty capable of beating Chuck, imo. But I really think it will be a striker or retirement that dethrones Chuck, not one of the submission wrestlers he's being spoonfed match after match.

And on a side note, nobody ever fights at 100%. NEVER. People take fights knowing they're injured, so I dont give a crap what excuses they come up with. They either perform or they dont. Lately, Tito hasn't been.
