I was wondering if anyone remembered this welterweight or knows what ever happened to him. I saw a few of his fights and he looked really slick and had tremendous handspeed. I was looking at his record on Boxrec and it says he fought and beat David Gonzalez in '93 and that was his last fight.

TTT, no one remembers this guy? I think he won Bronze at the '88 Olympics

My name is Everett Lewis . I use to Fight kenny in the amaturs. Kenny had a shoulder injury. THat stopped his carreeer. Kenny was the 147 world amature champ. He also won the pan am games. The reson kenny only won the bronze was because points were taken away. Do to he would not listen to ken adams the coach. And saluteed his dad who was in the stands between rounds. Kenny's dad made a big stink about not being able to work his sons corner

From what I remember that sounds about right.He fought out of Kronk for sometime and had all the Traits & talent of a future champ.really did face solid Opponents In Phillips,Turner,Maysonnet and faded Ex.champ Paul. and was right on the cusp of breaking through after Beating a streaking David gonzalez I had 96-95 Gould.
Ist loss was a dislocated shoulder To anthony bryant which he rebounded to revenge in next fight.Slick southpaw fleet of foot types must give me mental block because Ive seen him fight but I just do not recall to much on him.

Thanks for the info. Yeah from what I seen of the guy (very little) he looked INCREDIBLY talented, it boggled my mind how he never went onto at least something a LITTLE Bigger
