OK, I know they all both big big long shots, but if you had to say one had the better chance of winning who would it be and why
Mora over Tayor or Manfredo over Calzaghe??

Either of them could pull off an upset but i'd lean towards Manfredo he seems a different fighter since he teamed up with Freddie Roach

I'd say Manfredo because he has a puncher's chance.

I concur. But Joe C has also been dropped by guys who don't hit as hard as Manfredo at 168. Plus, Peter seems to know how to finish the job lately when he has someone hurt.

Douglas beat tyson a 42/1 underdog so why can't Mora beat Taylor or Manfredo beat Calzaghe

because my friend tyson was undertrained something that jermain taylor and joe c dont do

byron mithell had 25 wins 18 kos he caught calzaghe with flash knockdown and calzaghe stopped him in same round

and salem jeez dunno what happened there lol he trapped him in corner and salem exploded out corner with right hand bomb manfredo could floor calzaghe which i doubt but he wont ko him

I think Manfredo has the only chance for an upset, it would have to be a (T)KO. Cant see him winning any type of decision against Joe C. in his backyard. I was going to pick Mora, because I think he is going to give Taylor some problems, but if Bhop and Winky cant pull a decision against Taylor then Mora aint got a chance!!!

even if Joe has become shot overnight this fight should show the vast gulf in class between a reality TV Boxer and Real World Champions.

personally im not too keen on this matchup its a big step backwards for Joe IMO

Mark me down for either of your choosing. I think they both get humiliated.

If I was forced to pick one it would be... Manfredo Jr. because I think Mora is fainthearted.

Wish I could CC you again, but I sure Am glad that someone here recognizes that Joe fighting Peter is not OK.....

Just because Peter was on that show and hes popular in Rhode Island doesn't mean anything...

Same goes for Taylor fighting Mora.....

As for the question, I dunno let me get a coin and flip for it....
I'll post the result as soon as I find a coin...

I totally agree with you about Joe taking this fight... With Taylor it's a little more understandable... He's really young, still has alot of areas where he can improve, and is coming off wins over 2 ATG's and one very tough Kassim Ouma.. Though Ouma and Mora aren't exactly elite,it doesn't matter like I say Taylor can improve by fighting them and bide some time until a really big fight comes along, for instance the winner of Miranda vs Green, or Pavlik if he somehow gets handed the chance for a title eliminator against the winner. Calzaghe has nothing to gain from this, or his last fight... He has proven that he doesn't always get up for the smaller fights, and the guy certainly isn't going to pick up and new tricks by fighting these guy.. He's a finished product who just letting his peak slip away, and it's too bad really.
