PSV are no walk overs, Arsenal play some of their best football in the CL but PSV delt with them.

Could be an iffy 1st leg?

Liverpool will be without Sissoko but Macherano will fill in and as many have said before Stevie G will be in the center again, his best position.

Kuyt and Bellamy are healthy and ready to go.....but there is talk of leaving Crouch out of the starting lineup even inspite of his hat trick vs Arsenal.

Rafa got a HUGE lump of cash ($79 million) from the new American owners to get more or better strikers....I think it would still be wise to keep Crouch as he is a proven goal scorer and a great sub for set pieces.

    PSV is in for it!

Glad to hear Macherano starting. Haven't had the chance to get a proper look at him yet. I hear he passes like Xavi Alonso and clamps balls like Makalele

Mascherano did well, as did Gerrard, Riise, and Crouch (all had goals....except Mascherano who just played GREAT D)

Finnan had a great game too!!!!!

3-0 Pretty much locks it up for Liverpool....PSV is really going to have to get their shit together to come back from that far down

I had the game on downstairs but didnt watch, sounded like Liverpool had their hands round PSV's throat all night long.

    Game over.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

In the first half it was a very cautious game...as soon as Gerrard scored I knew Liverpool would put another one away.

PSV was just hoping to play to a scoreless draw and had no backup plan

Finnan had a great game! Everytime he burst forward beyond Gerrard he was onto a winner.

Riise's goal was top draw stuff. Him and Stevie bloody well know how to lash a ball!
