Donald Curry looked to have the world at his feet then came Honeyghan and bad management ............

By the way i dont concider Macho Comacho a great .

Mike Tyson could have dominated for years if he had trained

I dont like him but Joe Calzaghe has wasted his ovious talents fighting in a crappy division againest second rate fighters for to long.

Riddick Bowe wasted his talent i agree with this.

Duran blew up between fights which is bad for the body , and he still made it GREAT so how good would he have been with the dicipline of say Mike Mccallum or Hopkins ?

    Meldrick Taylor
    Greg Page
    Riddick Bowe
    Tim Witherspoon
    David Reid
    Davey Moore
    Michael Watson
    Gerald Mcclellan
    Salvador Sanchez
    Corrie Sanders
    Fernando Vargas
    John Mugabi
    Ike Ibeabuchi
    Aaron Pryor
    Zab Judah
    Buster Douglas
    Tony Tubbs
    Kirkland Lang
    Charles Burley
How does a guy (Salvador Sanchez) who kills himself in a car crash make his way onto your list? Can not believe you left out Razor Ruddick and Tony Ayala.
Because i can't remember every single boxer there is .... and read what i said on pages 1 and 2 im not repeating it again i've already said twice why i have Sanchez there but people don't bother to read it so i can't be bothered to type it 3rd time.

Again Scrap i have already said i see it different waste of talent doesn't just mean that it has to mean one thing it can mean few things and Burley could of been much greater if he wern't ducked by all champions and actually most of casual fans never even heard of Burley and i'll be honest i had never heard of him either until i come here and imo not fair on Burley because he could of achieved much much more if it wern't for some suspect dealings in them days thats why im saying he is wasted talent because he could of been 2 times better if he wern't ducked by all champions.

Personally ..although i know it wasnt a total waste...

Toney could have been one of the top all time greats imo with all that skill and power at middle and supermiddleweight...
If he had the discipline of someone like hopkins and was able to make 160 for as long as bernard did..
Then he could have been the unified champ and those few years when he slipped away after the loss to jones and fought for low key titles etc.. Could have been spent fighting great competition.. Benn, Eubank, tito at middle..Personally i would kill to see and in shape toney - Hopkins bout, could have fought winky taylor loads of fighters.. A proportion of those huge fights and great performances would have made him a superstar

He was universally seen as a joke in the sport.

He could have done sooo much more with himself.

    Riddick Bowe and Ike Ibeabuchi.

What a shitty way for Ibeabuchi to go out. Just coming off a brutal knockout of then undefeated Chris Byrd he gets put in the slammer. No one knows how far this guy could have went. He could have been the saviour of the HW division or he could have been a complete bust. We'll never know.

No one has said Tony Ayala. He was as deadly a fighter as I've ever seen in the ring, but life got the better of him. He got out of jail in 98' but he was locked up (pre 83') he was insanely powerful, a destroyer.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

Early on he looked damn good, beats Barret, beats Maskaev, then he loses,to McCline by decision, and comes out calling himself Goofi, and being in serious need of a sports bra,if you get my drift.

Yeah. Agrred. Though the power behind the punch he threw to ko Oleg still remains a mystery. I thikn Oleg may have been concussed by Johnson and Sanders going into that one.
