Calzaghe has a July date.

Kessler was offered the fight but turned it down - apparently he needs a rest.

Taylor's fighting Spinks in May and his people have said they'd be interested later in the year.

Hopkins and Winky are fighting in July.

I can understand the thinking that Kessler should be jumping at the chance to fight in July...but why the hurry and pressure to do so? What is wrong with a break....simply make a September date....all resolved....or probably not...

We are going to be fed another mandatory!!!

Not sure it's as easy as that.

It has a lot to do with the availability of TV dates and suitable venues. FW obviously has a July date. They offered Kessler (his team) the chance and they've refused it.
