If Cotto continues on this path hes on, he'll also be eligeable for this list.
W 83 (30 ko's) He used to wear you down not really hard puncher.Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey

Alot of them late, when he was fighting heavier then he should have, and early in his career when he was fighting 4 rounders
Early in his fights,he allways struck me as trying to feel out an opponent rather then really opening up.
What about Aaron Pryor, even tho he was best at light welter? 35 out of 39 were ko's.
He never fought at Welterweight i don't think nvm just checked it he fought at Wetlerweight couple of times but that was at end of his career.Originally Posted by No Contest
Robinson....hell of a puncher, still KO'd big middleweights when he moved up
Thomas Hearns #2...he was an explosive puncher
Trinidad 3rd
As far as just punching power Tommy Hearns.....Tommy hit people so hard he actually broke his wrist on one occasion.....His straight right may have been the best power punch of any welterweight...
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!
Why is Quartey on that list?
Isn't he famous for his jab?

He only fought 3 times at welterweight, and got KO'ed by the only decent one it looks like.Originally Posted by No Contest
Robinson how was he a hell of a puncher? He sometimes punched guys into submission, but he never really one punched a really middleweight contender like Trinidad or Hearns have done. Remember Fulmer was also a welterweight, and that left hook was good, but I've seen both Trinidad adn Hearns throw harder. And for Hearns to buckle Hagler's legs is something Robinson IMO could never do with one punch.Originally Posted by Lyle

You should watch more of his welterweight fights. I believe he was the only guy to floor ODLH with a punch to the head once Oscar was a champion. Also I've seen the Cuevas vs. Duran fight, and Duran was hitting harder by far.Originally Posted by luvfightgame
IMO, and in the following order:
1. Hearns
2. Trinidad
3. Cuevas
4. Duran
5. Mayorga (should be considered at this weight)
6. Robinson
