Who do you think was the hardest welterweight puncher ever?
Ray Robinson
Thomas Hearns
Roberto Duran
Felix Trinidad
Oscar Dela Hoya
Ike Quartey
What order to you put them in?

At 147, I would have DLH and Quartey tied for the last spot, and I would bump Trinidad ahead of Duran. Other than that I have them in the same order as above.Originally Posted by Taeth
I'd put Duran ahead of Tito PFP, but at 147 the nods goes to Tito because that was his lowest weight class, whereas Duran moved up to welter from lower weight classes.
Really? Mine wasn't in order, but here's how mine goes

Robinson
Quartey
Dela Hoya

Not in any order
Henry Armstrong
Thomas Hearns
Felix Trinidad
Oscar Dela Hoya
Sugar Ray Robinson
You know that Henry Armstrong was tiny, and relied on succesive punches.
I look at Hearns who continued to knock out guys in devastating fashion at the higher weights, and Duran who also did that to Moore and others which makes me think they are the biggest punchers, and also Trinidad I change Quartey with Oscar though because I think Oscar hits ahrder than Quartey after watching them against eachother and against Vargas.
Perhaps one day Andre Berto will be added to the list. He is looking good so far, but is untested yet.
I would have to say Hearns and Duran should be the top two.
How about Pipino Cuevas W 35 (31 ko's)
