Default Topic: Holyfield vs. Lou Savarese in the Works

"Evander Holyfield may fight Lou Savarese in June and the winner getting a title shot. It hasn't been signed yet, but from what I hear, everyone involved wants the fight except Holyfield. It appears Holyfield has a hangup about fighting friends. Lou Savarese and Holyfield became friends while hanging out in Houston."

Interesting note, Lou Savarese is 42 and Evander Holyfield is 44.

I got my info from the post on the website above. After you read it let me know who you think would win this fight.

I think Holyfield is looking at Travis Walker as an opponent for June 30th in Canada. only Walker and his people are not all that big on it, Walker does not think he is ready for Holyfield level competition yet , but $75,000 is offered to Walker , and after watching what Garcia did to Travis , I think he should take it. Walker is going to get beat by someone for a lot let money soon.. . my understanding is Evander is not big on fighting Lou Savarese, but its still up in the air as is Brian Minto

I would rather see Holyfield -vs- Minto . a much better match for Evander . Minto comes to fight would be a firecracker .

I agree that would be a better fight! From what I understand about minto hi likes to come forward and slug. That could make for a entertaining fight!

    That goes double for me.
Evander has no business in any boxing rings anymore.
Why doesn't he retire and enjoy his well-earned millions?

Savarese was ok contender before Tyson fight but after that bad Tyson loss his name has gone way down i voted for not interested if Holyfield wants to win title he needs to hurry up times running out.
