But Kessler isn't read for July and Calzaghe wants to fight in July he doesn't want to wait so this would be good fight and Froch is name and has got talent then Kessler and Calzaghe can get it on end of 2007 or early 2008.

IF he wins that is mate
Mark my words..This will be Calzaghes toughest fight and Froch can knock you out and has a granite chin.
What makes it more interesting is that there is absolutely no way Joe can Knock him out

Smash is bit biased when it comes to good old good Froch it won't be Calzaghe's toughest fight but it will be competitive.

    Why though?
It's all in place ,venue,Khans next opponent
I don't see why not really mate barring his hands
Would be a great domestic fight too and would eclipse the Manfredo fight for crowd size.

To be honest Joe is a class act and also has a great chin,i just think Froch is hungry for this and would seriously put it on Joe.
Wouldn't matter to me if Froch did lose because he'd go out on his shield and is still at an age where he could bounce back plus he'd do himself lot's of favours Stateside with his style

He hasn't fought just a few months apart in donkeys years. He already has the hand injury. They're flapping around for a suitable opponent - it wont be Froch, sadly, cause rival Brit promoters are to busy having their own pissing contest to put on fights WE WANT - And in these press snippets September keeps popping up...remember last year Calzaghe pulled out of the big July date FW had planned.

I would have thought Joe and Warren would wanna get back into action soon as after the Manfredo farce, only thing holding it back (like you say) is the fact Warren wants options on Froch if he wins.
That to me suggests he see's Carl as a real Live threat to Joe
This is Haye v Enzo all over again
