    is it true if the line in the center of your palm is connected and straight.. is a sign that your punches are strong??

    RE: punching power .. You often hear announcers like Jim Lampley and even Manny Steward say . “larger hands equals more power“ .. That is not an accurate statement. in theory the bigger hand might hold up better , however assuming the smaller hand holds up.. If thrown with the same amount of speed and force , the smaller hand will have a significant advantage in power and damage. Think of a bullet launching out of a gun . all that power and force is compressed into one small compact area equals severe devastation. a larger hand. The power is distributed over a wider range and therefore absorbed better. Now don’t get me wrong plenty of big punchers who have large hands, that’s not what I am saying .. I’m only saying I don’t believe the size of the hand is an accurate indicator of power.

    A big puncher that comes to mind who had small hands was Julio Caesar Chavez.. , when Chavez would throw punches to the body , his small hands would slice in between the ribs of his opponents actually separating the rib , his smaller hands were an asset in my opinion.
