Irony of ironies,we're back in negotiations for Lamara Iverson again
Chick has a basketball star for a cousin and she thinks she can box,oh well,its a payday.Our promoters got something going in October,and hes looking to see if he can get us on the bill.
Hopefully itll be Natiata Porter,or Roxanne Ward instead,or dare to dream Gwen Wood

WV's near the Eastern Seaboard,tucked in under Pennsylvania,and right above Virginia
You would think living 10 minutes from the birthplace of Christy Martin we'd have an easier time booking a female fight.
Bloody politics really,the only other big time promoter in the state hates ours with a passion.And ours was busy with the Bates/Golata fight(hes Jeremy's manager) so buisness is slow.

Ya i understand....Have u tried approachin any of the Muay Thai or MMA promotions? It's only a matter of time before MMA and boxing starts to appear on the One card so mayb u could be a bit of a pioneer and work somethin out that way? Mayb with the fans the gate they already got guaranteed and the extra cash your promotion outfit can generate u could make it more profitable for all concerned and therefore more attractive to other fighters?

We were seriously bummed when the Blue Horizon fight fell through,girl didnt want to fight Leslie,and still it went to a No Decision because the tomato the girl had brought in from Camden cut her

The other week we were talking to Mahfood,and she agreed you gotta just keep throwing it against the wall until something sticks.
Actually Valerie said if worse comes to worse shed fight her,but the fight would be hard to get sanctioned because of the difference in experience.
