if hatton beats mayweather, without holding him to death, then he deserves to be rated quite high.

There is no secret that I think Hatton is amazing, and is my favourite fighter out there...although Cotto & Diaz rank pretty close. However, I don't believe beating the P4P king makes you #1.

My reasoning for this is that Pac will never get the cnace to fight PBF, so does that mean he can never be ranked 1st on that basis? IMO, it'd move Hatton up pretty high, and anyone who was calling him overrated would be an obvious hater.

If Hatton gets to fight Floyd 4 real and in case he wins that one other than by disq., I mean why wouldn't he be P4P nÂș1 in da World? God, P4P doesn't mean shit, why is that Hatton is better than Calzaghe and they're both undefeated? Why is that Winky is rated above or below Taylor and B-Hop? Where does Rafael marquez and his brother and Pacquiao fit in, and Cotto and Mosley and Ricky? This P4P thing doesn't mean anything but to the fighters fans and media like the Ring Mag, since I don't care who wins or dat I just would like to see these guys fight cleanly between themselves and not get seriously hurt ( which is something I don't wish to any human being), I'll say that if Hatton wins over Floyd is just cause he'll prove he's better than him at a certain weight and a given moment/stage in their careers but i doubt it will ever happen quite honestly...
