    September 29, 2007. www.teampavlik.com

Youngstown's Vindicator has done a tremendous job of covering Kelly
Pavlik. Let's write letters to the Canton, Akron, Pittsburgh and
Cleveland Newspapers so that this great local story is covered every
    step of the way.

Jermain Taylor is a rare and historic champion in that he beat a
champion (Bernard Hopkins) that collected all 4 of the major world
titles. Jermain Taylor has not been beaten since. Therefor he is
considered the undisputed middleweight champion of the world and now
Kelly Pavlik is scheduled to fight for his crown. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7WvDw2882g

I give Taylor credit. He doesn't shy away from the competition. Taylor hasn't looked all that great in his last 2 fights. But it don't matter, he still came out with the win. Pavlik is a good, strong fighter. He was impressive in beating Miranda. But that's been his only note worthy win. He deserves his title shot. But I don't think he wins it. Taylor by mid to late round stoppage.

I got to go with Pavlik by knock out easy. Jermaine allows his self to be pressed and pushed back alot. You cannot do that with a guy who has wrecking balls at the end of his wrists. Kassim Umoa pressed him back and so did Winky Wright.Pavliks fist will find a home diffinetly if Taylor finds his self up on the ropes. Which he did that alot with Kassim. I belive Pavlik chin is much more sturdy than Taylor. I think his power is much greater than Taylors , and also I belive fans would like Pavlik's humble personality over a champ who speaks of himself in the third person.

I voted Taylor by decision cos he always seems to eek out a win that way. Altho i'd love to see Pavlik win by devastating KO. It could be just what the Boxing world needs.

I would take Pavliks chin over Taylor's fists any day.

I've said it before I've got a bad feeling Taylor will step up and fight better than he has and beat Pavlik. Sucks cause seeing even one more Taylor fight is one too many but just think he'll be too quick. Hopefully not.

I agree, I think Taylor totally outclasses Pavlik, and possibly stops him. He's been severely underrated after his last few fights and I think he gets back his mojo against Pavlik. I still think that Taylor can become a great fighter, but he just needs to let things flow instead of thinking about every move in the ring. Against BHOP and Wright although some beg to differ he went 2-0-1. He didn't do that by thinking about every single move he was just raw, rough, and rugged. With Ouma and Spinks he was trying too damn hard to look good and wasn't using his physicality to his advantage. Pavlik brings out the best in Taylor and everyone including Larry Merchant jumps back on the JT bandwagon.

any reason why you think Taylor will stop him?

To me the winner will be decided by taylor, if he truns up hungry he will take the UD, otherwise pavilk will stop him or take the UD...

No way do i see the soft hitting taylor stopping pavilk tho, not after he took some big big shots from miranda and didn't get stopped. Taylor couldn't stop guys like ouma or spinks, guys whos punches he could walk through, pavilk wont be stopped by taylor.

Ive gone for Taylor by KO/TKO i think he will rise to the challenge Pavlik has power but i think Taylor's slick skills will get him through we can't really judge Taylor on his last fight against Spinks as Spinks made the fight horrible.I will say this about Taylor he does'nt shy away from a big fight or a big name this fight is a major threat and i believe Taylor will raise his game and take Pavlik out down the stretch probably around round 10.
