Ah man just read the article and Calzaghe's stay at home streak even extends to what network he fights on

Last night, Calzaghe was putting a brave face on going back to satellite. “It was great being on ITV,” he admitted. “But they are not paying as much as Setanta, so you have got to go where the money is.”

Sounds like even the thought of leaving the traditional confines of free terrestial telly is a big step for Joe.

It will be ok Joe, Duke is there and Rawling, they'll look after you

Thats why isnt it, ITV wont put on a show at 2am, the Calzaghe Lacy fight got 1.2 million fewer viewers than the Hobson Enzo fight, becasue it was on so late.

Why bid for Calzaghe and Kessler when they can bring us classic fights such as Skelton Sprott?

I hope they actually put on fights leading up to the 2am this time, cause last time it was dead quiet for a couple of hours after the undercard finished for a few hours until Calzaghe v Lacy happened. And if there's 60,000 fans there, all pissed up, I'd suggest there could be a few fights as everyone waits for the big thing to happen and get frustrated.

You sure you didn't just imagine there was no action on because Alexander-McDonagh (McDonaghs fault) was so funking boring?

Very possibly...I confess I have no abiding memories of that one...but there still was a long gap before the Calzaghe v Lacy fight. All I'm saying is no big gap. Please....or I'll drink till I can't remember the undercard. Again.
