erm, I dont see what the big deal about this fight being S*** is, there has been far worse Saturday nights of boxing.. im semi interested in it.

Im more excited about this than i was about Taylor Spinks (still quite close to 0 though).

I actually really want Baldo to win just so he can increase his own legacy. He's by now means a great fighter, but he's decent and his perseverence and attitude deserves to leave him to retire with some success.

In another 154lb note, I'm kinda gutted Quartey wants to fight at 147 as I was hoping he'd attract a few others to move up for the payday.

HBO will show the replay of Hopkins-Wright, and will then show one live fight, Forrest vs. Baldomir.

Not only does this fight figure to be boring, it's also completely the opposite of what HBO's Boxing After Dark series is supposed to be about. BAD was supposed to be showcasing young up-and-coming prospects, not too guys in their mid-30s.
CC thanks for the Berto information and I agree with the second part.

To be honest I don't think many people anticipated Tarver-Muriqui.
At least Baldo comes to fight and you know hes gonna try to make a fight out of it.

I really think Baldo-Forrest will be a pretty good fight.

The one guy I thought might do well,Simms, lost too. The division is wide open.
Recycling these old fighters and giving them air time is just getting annoying. Nobody wants to see Vernon Forrest fight again. Even Vernon F****** hates himself.

Its like Mayorga-Vargas, does anybody care? Its apparently going to be on Showtime the night HBO has Guzman-Soto. How could anybody choose to watch the Mayorga-Vargas card over that one. Get these old guys out, no more Baldomir, no more Forrest, no more Vargas, no more Mayorga, no more Tarver, even guys that I've been a fan of like Quartey. I'm even tired of DLH, Mosley. This is getting to be a big thing with me, we need to showcase the young guys in the sport, stop recycling these old guys. I don't want Mayweather-Mosley, I want Mayweather-Cotto.
WHAT?! Fuk that! I thought you were a Mayorga fan Oumafan? What happened to you? Mayorga vs. Vargas is gonna rock, two bullies goin at it to prove he's still got something left in the tank. Mayorga is gonna knock Vargas's ass out for sure. It'll be great to watch and action packed while it lasts. Forrest lost his last fight to Quartey and we all know it, I'll be rootin for Baldomir against him, though I don't much care for Baldomir either. And the Berto fight is on ESPN FNF I think.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
