I remember he beat ron stander..and admitted that stander was a great fighter and would have beaten him if it werent for him having broken ribs having just come off a stoppage loss to joe frazier..

u have to watch his fights on youtube. this guy is awful. reputated to be a great brawler, but would get killed by far FAR lesser HW's than ali.

i watched alis fight against berbick. lemme tell u somat, ali of that fight would have ko'd shaw early. i saw glimses of ali in the berbick fight that he showed in 1975ish. he wasnt as bad in 1981 as i expected wen i first watched it on utube. but he had slowed down at alot. i mean ali punched alot harder than ppl think!

roy shaw wrote in his autobio, that he couldnt hurt ron standers at all wen he connected on his chin. roy was a natural middleweight, he bloated up to heavy thru weight training.
