    Default Marquez V Vazquez 3?

I watched Marquez V Vazquez 2 again last night and also saw the Celestino Caballero fight before it.
There is no way in hell that this guy would beat either Marquez or Vazquez at 122llb.
Hopefully the rubber match will be made and not any fight with Caballero!
On seeing the ending again i have changed my thoughts on the stoppage, Marquez was in big trouble and another round would not have done him any good.

cc. Alot of people think that it was prematurely stopped but it wasnt if you see Rafas guard and legs right when the ref stepped in, he was done and thanks to that stoppage we will enjoy 3 with the same exitement.

AHH MAN a third fight between these two could go down as one of the top 3 trilogies of the last 10 years...Gatti/Ward good...IMO of course....

I agree about the stoppage....some people complained....and to be honest at first I thought so to but when you see the end in slow motion and get a good look at Marquez eyes you know it was a good stoppage....Vasquez was coming on stronger not slowing down.....Marquez was on the run....Her was not going to recover...it was not like it was a one shot stunner.....Good Stoppage IMO

Difinitely. PPV worth totally, and I'm sure it'll be held in bigger venue this time.

I think the stoppage was a little early. But I to am looking forward to a 3rd fight. It might take awhile to happen since Vazquez cuts were pretty ugly. They need time to heal

My opinion is that it does not matter if the fight was stoped too early, Vazquez was going to win the second fight. Vazquez and Marquez are big punchers, and boxers, and I'dont think they will ever be able to fight 12 rounds, all fights will be by KO. A third fight will be great, and I'll die to watch again them. I'm not sure who will KO, but I'm sure we will not see 12 rounds.

If vasquez was gonna win anyway then why didn't they let him, both guys recovered from knockdowns in the first fight, both are sluggers so you kinda know it's not gonna go the distance so let what is gonna happen....a third fight would be great but this time i hope they let these guys fight.....

It will be interesting to see what happens after their third fight. I expect them both to be so weakened from their wars that Ponce De Leon, Steve Molitor and maybe even Bernard Dunne will take over.

My money is on Molitor cleaning up the division over the next two or three years.

Don't think it will happen this year though. . . for the sake of both fighters and their careers they need to heal and rest before another fight happens

A third fight will be great to define who is the best and both have my respect. A third fight will be exciting and other KO.

They should give it a rest before they make a third match between themselves IMO. When it does come off (because it undoubtedly will), I have vasquez winning by KO but i think this one carries on into the later rounds and is a total war (like its predecessors) and really pushes each guy to the limit.

A third fight will happen and it will most likely happen in Mexico in February next year.
