Mitchell v Johannesen for the British title

Could be a great fight this, could depend on how Johannesen bounces back from the last defeat, i dont think Mitchell hits that hard and i think all things being equal Johannesen walks through his shots and takes him out in the 9th.

In terms of the domestic scene at 130, I think this is the best fight out there at the moment....with the promise of Mitchell, as yet really untested, and the dependable power of Johanneson, who will be returning to the belt he held before challenging Kiravosyan.

Personally, I'm inclined to favour Mitchell by a little, because Johanneson was exposed big time last time out, but then again Mitchell doesn't pack the punch Kiravosyan had. I just think Johanneson will find it hard to turn his head around into the right place to really get totally in the zone for it.

Agreed, Carl will find it difficult to recover from that. Mitchell is young, hungry and undefeated. He'll break down Johannsen and use him as a stepping stone. Eventually people will be calling for Mitchell vs. Arthur.

I agree with you boys, I wouldn't fancy Johanneson coming off that beating.

If Carl has one or two "gimmes" beforehand it could be different. But I guess, for obvious reasons, Mitchells mob would want the fight now.

this is a true test for both men and i do believe that it will be a case of who wants it most. This is the best fight for both men to prove things imo and i hope its a thriller.

very good fight mitchell has caught Johannesen at a good time he will have no confidence at all i think he mite get stopped early again especially if he comes out gun shy.
