Default Ajose Olusegun: Is he really MR AVOIDED

After buying this weeks BOXING NEWS magazine theres a very good interview with current commenwealth light-welter champ Ajose Olusegun (20-0,10KOS) and states he's Mr Avoided and I'm just wondering does any1 think he is??

You have to admire his confidence as he mentions the other light-welters:

On Colin Lynes (EBU Champ) "He could end up becoming world champ, but I just hope they make the mistake of letting him fight me first"

On Gavin Rees (WBA Champ) "I would beat him with one hand, I'll fight him for £10,000. Frank Warren I beg you to give me a call"

On Junior Witter (WBC Champ) "I would knock him out. I wouldn't let him breathe"

On Ricky Hatton (140 Pound King and IBO Champ) "Hatton would be one of the easier ones, If he thinks he can punish my body, let him fight me. The whole world will be surprised"

This kid really is up for anyone and says if he went to USA he would already be a world champ. With KO'S over Ali Numbembe and Bradley Pryce he's shown he can compete but saying that about Witter and Hatton WTF is he doing.

HATTON WOULD DESTROY HIM but I would fancy him against Lynes or Rees.

How far do people think he can go

It\'s common for young fighters to call out established fighters. He\'s just trying to call attention to himself. Which in reality is not a bad idea. Boxing is a cut throat business.

Like a lot of young fighters he's looked good against the level of comp he's been in with...he should continue to progress the way he is instead of jumping up and taking the boom boom route.

It's clear that this guy does not know what he is saying. The folly of the young is sometimes irritating.

He has backed up everything he's said so far and he needs to keep up this talk to get publicity. It's a deep division both in the UK and the World so he has to stay in people minds.

Olusegun would be a handful for anyone. I was well impressed when he duffed up Nuumbembe although not as impressed last time against Reid - I would expect a world class fighter to stop Reid.

I've said many times this is my favourite magazine. It is in depth and offers great reports and news.

I thought what he said about Hatton was bollocks. Olusegun is a decent fighter, but I'd fancy Colin Lynes to beat him. Lynes is impressing me every time I watch him right now, and he's about 2 defences away from deserving a crack at a world title. He should get Rees now. He'd outbox and outfox him no problem.

Ajose needs to force the issue. If he wants these fights so bad, he needs to goad them into a shot. The more he mouths off, the more he's likely to piss someone off into giving him a chance to shine.

The man is the real deal folks, he's got everything i.e speed, power, technical ability, defence and lovely movement, and it's absolutely true that he's being ducked by the big boys, people talk about Colin Lynes having a chance against him?..lol Ajose's movement and speed would simply be too much for him and i'd predict a late ko, Lynes beating a weight drained and limited Muttley proves nothing, and people may not have been impressed with Ajose's performance against Reid but come on!!, the result was never in doubt and his speed and boxing was world class for seven out of ten rounds, he could have easily finished the fight if he stepped it up, after Floyd's done with Ricky it would be interesting to see Ricky give Ajose a chance, but i'll be happy to see him fight any on that list as i feel he beats all of them easy bar Witter who might be more tougher but he could still win it.

He looks good but not world class, hell even Kendall Holt would out point him, what the fuck does trhat tell you. He's no world champ, even at 140!
