Rematch between Salvador Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomez

Lets play a little make believe here and imagine if the tragic accident that ended Salvador's life had not happend.

There is no doubt that this re-match would've been made.

It is widely recognized that Gomez had taken Sanchez litely and did not train his best. This is ofcourse no excuse but Gomez was determined to avenge his loss to Sanchez and wanted the rematch bad.

What do you guys think would've happend.

I think Gomez would've willed himself to a victory in a rematch and probably lose the robber match after that. But that's just me.

It would have happened and I would take Sanchez again but on points. Gomez would show tremendous heart but Salvador was the overall better fighter.

It would be the same outcome no difference except it would last longer Sanchez by stoppage in the 11th.

Sanchez was just starting to peak he would of got better and better.
