    Default Takefumi Sakata drew yesterday!

    http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2...kjXhfZdUd.html

"WBA flyweight champ Takefumi Sakata (31-4-2, 15 KOs), 112, barely kept his belt on a split draw with Denkaosen Kaowichit (40-1-1, 16 KOs), 111.5, Thailand, over twelve see-saw heats as he came off the canvas in the first round, withstood solid punches of Denkaosen Kaowichit (40-1-1, 16 KOs), 111.5, and dominated the game from the eighth on to overcome the early deficits on points on Sunday in Saitama, Japan."

This guy has an awesome resume including wins over Parra,Vazquez and a draw with Naito. Here he was fightng his mandatory,he always fights tough opponents!

He DID KO Parra but he's 2-1 in their head to head. A win over Kaowichit would do a lot for him.

True, but Parra was P4P top 20 then and beating up on guys in their backyards. They were also MD losses,so avenging them with a KO is not too bad(although Parra was HUGELY weight drained)

"Should the ref not deduct a point, Denkaosen could have earned a split decision. This reporter, however, saw it 114-112 for Sakata with the tallies almost identical with Padilla’s except in the third, when the judge gave it to Denkaosen, but yours truly to Sakata (as the other two judges did). Had it been held in Las Vegas, Sakata would have been rendered a decision in favor of him, even if close or split, thanks to his better use of jabs throughout the contest and nearly complete domination in the last five sessions."
