    Default i need help with power and endurance

    i am 220 at 5'5 i am mostly fat though. im short and fat. i have a lot of hand speed. i want to be a boxer. i need endurance and power does anyone have a good routine. i trained my self and never went to the gym i had a punching bag at home and i hit it. i noticed i had a lot of speed for a fat guy. now i want power and endurance. i want to go to 200 and get taller. can anyone help me.

    I'm new to this site and boxing, so I'm certainly not in any position of expertise, but how did you come to the conclusion that you had fast hands? Did you compare yourself to other boxers? I only ask because you said you've never been to the gym.

    Genetics say how tall you'll be, nothing can be done about that.

    When I was 6 years old, I just knew I'd grow up to be 6 feet tall. I was right about that. It'd be nice if I also knew I'd grow up to be a $100 million plus Powerball jackpot winner also, but I missed that one.

    No offense, but are you a Mexican? At school, most of the fatter Mexicans have faster hand speed than the skinnier ones, don't know why.

    Anyway, it'd be a good idea to join a boxing gym, because unless you've had a friend to spar with, your defense will suck, and you will not be used to getting hit.
