    A lot of nonsense.
For one, Roy has to get past Tito.
What is ROID Jr going to do against Calzaghe other than try and run for 12 rounds?
Miss me with this junk Roid Jr.

This version of Jones Jr would get beaten quite bad by Calzaghe sadly.

i for one, think that Jones/Calzaghe would be more interesting than a Hopkins/Calzaghe fight. a tad bit more exciting. it you find that link that would be cool.
    CC for the input.

Actually makes sense,if you take Roy's ego in to account.
Big name, big payday, and if he somehow wins he's right back in the mix as a name again, and other then Hopkins, who can he fight to put himself there?

Style wise i think it would be aswell Hopkins is very dirty fighter and is very scrappy fighter and Calzaghe is an awkward southpaw = snooze fest.

I'd rather see Hopkins make the flight across the pond to be honest. Don't really care to see Jones/Calzaghe in the 1st place, though the way Hopkins holds so much now a Jones fight may be more entertaining.

i don't think joe should fight jones jr - theres no point now - roy is a spent force - this would have been awesome years ago - but not now, joe would have nothing to gain from it. And if joes book is anything to go by then he doesn't want jones either

if the Hopkins fight doesn't happen and Jones looks good against Tito then why not!
not much else left out there for JC maybe Taylor, don't think Pavliks moving up anytime soon.
Woods is another option but not a fight i'd care to much about.

Roy said he would come over here after the Manfredo fight. He said he would be willing to come here and the winner of the fight to get 60/40 purse split. Calzaghe went after Taylor instead.
I think it would be a shame to see them fight now..because Jones would get beaten quite badly and it would be by no means a reflection of the fight if both fighters were in their respective primes. Wonder how Jones will look against Trinidad though..I'm actually one of the few that is interested/curious in how that fight will turn out.

Here is one of the links though I think it is on multiple boxing sites now.

    http://www.setantasports.com/en/Spor...ritain-locale/

I dunno, Roy has called out a lot of names over the past few years and loo at who he ended up fighting. Not necessarily saying its his fault the fights didnt happen but I dont feel this one will come off. But who knows, if the money is right I'm sure Joe would be interested. He even said so after the Kessler fight. Something along the lines of "Roy Jones, Hopkins, dig up all those old champions, I'll fight them"

Moneywise I think Joe would get the most from these two names. He could also fight at home against Clinton Woods and can make a load of money from the tickets sold.

Personally I'd like to see him in with any of the light heavyweight champions. And if it goes well...... why not all of them?

RJJ is desperate for the fame the money the limelight. i believe he would travel to fight Joe Calzaghe at this moment in time aslong as he was paid $50 million.
