Default Calzaghe may defend title again

Come on Joe, Woods wants to fight you and so does Froch. If you cant get a Hopkins or a Jones in the ring yet then give us a decent domestic fight before your last big Hurrah over in the States.

Calzaghe v Froch would be a more one sided fight than Calzaghe v Lacy. I'd love every minute of it too. Froch is the most overrated untested fighter in world boxing today.

Well he mentioned Winky's name in there. If he were to defend his belts against Winky, I'd be happy with a win either way in that one.

I sincerely doubt that, to be realistic a Calzaghe Froch fight could be quite competitve ,although I feel that it may be slightly dull as both like to counter.

A Froch-Lacy fight would show what both men are made of.

With Froch's dodgey defence, speed and strength and Lacys raw power it would be a cracker.

Hmm..even to the end, the familiar Calzaghe story - big win followed by gimme.

Don't want him to fight anymore gimme's, I'd prefer him just to wait for Hopkins. Hat for him to lose to a guy beneath because he came in underprepared he needs to be challenged. Saying that though, I reckon he'd be up for Woods since it is up a weight division.

If he can't secure the big names he is after, go for Woods. He wants to fight him, they are both available early2008 and they would fill the Millenium easy!!! It would be a good domestic scrap, he has stepped up a weight and become a 2 weight champion and then he is a name in LHW in early 2008 that B-Hop couldn't ignore.

Also, if Dawson fights Tarver or someone big early in 2008 and wins and really makes a name for himself at LHW, then Calzaghe has another option. There are fights to be made a LHW, but take the Woods fight to begin with. It's the only option at the mo!

Every champion usually gets a shot to get their belt back
He had two to Joes one, hurt, and fighting in Cardiff to boot.
Curious to see what would have happened if it was say in Vegas, where Mikkel didnt have to knock him out to win.
It affects your game plan knowing you need a KO,especially with a bum wing
