You know what, coming into this floyd was dubbed the idiot, hatton the nice honest guy...

Floyd has shown nothing but respect after the fight whislt hatton is dropping sly little excuses in eveything i read...

During one of his conference calls he spoke a lot about how if floyd lost i hope he doesn't blame the dancing and his hand... yet he is ocming out with floyd using elbows? that he slipped, he went gung-ho?

You get knocked out like that and it's easy to want to make excuses. Floyd was throwing shoulders and elbows and Hatton was rushing in with head in spots and rabbit punching in spots. That's boxing and a good fighter will deal with it.

In Hatton's defense the ref sucked, but the outcome would have been the same regardless of the ref or venue. Mayweather is the better boxer/fighter period. Hatton needs to give him his props and move back down to 140.

I'm willing to give Hatton a pass. Teddy Atlas correctly pointed out that when an undefeated fighter first loses, it psychologically damages them in a way and they don't know how to deal with it. Case in point, when Julio Caezar Chavez first 'officially' lost to Frankie Randall, he started crying in the post fight interview that he was gonna sue the ref Richard Steele. It was the biggest moment of Hatton's career and he got his @ss beat by the fighter he dislikes the most and is gonna have to live with it for the rest of his life. Understandable that he'd be visibly shaken.
