Chop Chop Corley. People keep saying he ain't a big puncher cuz of his average KO %age but he has wobled his share of great fighters like PBF and Cotto. He just does'nt know what to do after he hurts them LOL.
I would not call Rosario an underrated puncher. Everyone basically knew he could punch someone into the next decade if he landed square! hehe
I actually have never seen anyone talk about Rosario's power, or rate him as one of the hardest hitting Lightweight's of all time. Even though he is i never see anyone mention what i just said.Originally Posted by Deanrw
Oh man he was amazing. Back in the 80's he was quite the force. He was beatable, but not before handing out massive damage himself. It is sad that he has been dead for 10 years already. R.I.P EL Chapo.
Depends on how you look at it, people that know something about Rosario, Lopez, Galaxy, etc know them as big punchers. They just might not be as well known as fighters in general compared to some but those that followed them, have seen them fight don't underrate their power.

I still can't believe how Hiranaka blasted him out? Unbelieveable...
His fight against JCC was a back and forth battle. May he R.I.P.
Well stated Ouma, those fighters are known as punchers. But yes they do go umentioned/unoticed compared to the more popular one.Originally Posted by OumaFan
I for one have said many times Fintos punching power is underrated. If you've seen Fintos fights you'll find he had some devastating KO's.
Good call here, 'Little Reds' def. overlooked by many as a fighter and as a puncher.Originally Posted by Ricardo "Finito" Lopez

Rosario got a pasting in that fight with Chavez, it was similar to Haugen getting destroyed by Chavez as well. What surprised me most about that fight was how Chavez walked through Rosario's punches that was quite amazing considering how hard Rosario hits.
I also love Rosario vs Ramirez 2 that was Hearns vs Hagler type of war, Ramirez down twice then comes back and brutally stops Rosario amazing fight.

Danny Lopez is one of my favorite fighters, he always seemed to be in barn burners. His fight with Mike Ayala was one of the best fights i've ever seen and also one of the weirdest fights i've ever seen, its first fight i've ever seen where the opponent gets KO twice

Ricardo Lopez had a lot of brutal KO's i wish someone would make a highlight video of all his KO's because they are great.
Steve Molitor
Nah i don't really consider Molitor big puncher, he has sharp punches plus he has quick hands but power puncher ?? not really, well not IMO anyway.Originally Posted by CFH

I don't think he's a big puncher either really, but he has more power than he's been given credit for, and he certainly hits harder than his KO% indicates. I think he's like PBF in that way; he focuses mainly on his defense, movement, and clean punching as opposed to trading and trying to land huge shots.Originally Posted by Ricardo "Finito" Lopez
