Default The Latin Snake beat who?

Fair dues, he's making as much money as he can out of his limited ability and exposure.
I just hate that he talks so much, but there isn't much walking going on

...some guy that hadn't fought since '04 and lost 3 of his last 4 by KO. Mora should be proud, but on the otherhand since being a champ isn't his goal then fighting guys like this isn't bad i guess.

He wasnt even impressive.... he's no real contender. It seemed like an early stoppage but his opponent looked real rusty and wasnt going to win anyway.

Mora has been banging on about money and getting title shot. When will he get his title shot? I think there is no way he beats Pavlik, Sturm or Abraham or Taylor for that matter.

I think a lot of fringe contenders would also beat him like Duddy.

Well not only was the quality of opposition to laugh but you should have seen the stoppage.
    It was horrible.

I want to see him earn his shot. (Means he has to stay busy and fight better opposition)
Win or lose on that but at least earning his shot would mean more, I hope to him.

If you dug through threads (not that i'm the only one who was saying this) you'd see how i was asking questions about ratings.. and why Mora not too long ago was something like 8th in the middleweight division.. He is not impressive at all..
I would LOVE to see him fight Pavlik so that Pavlik would knock him out of the ring.. I think a Taylor fight would be kind of boring cause Mora is quick and gets in and out and after the Spinks fight, I never want to see Taylor fight someone that even RESEMBLES Spinks.. not that Mora is nearly elusive.. just sayin.. Jermain needs a guy who comes to fight..

And a guy who comes to fight, Jermain will get!

    I can't wait for Pavlik/Taylor II

Jermain is going to get knocked the phuk out again and all in less than 5 months by the same guy.

How many brutal knock outs can one man take?
Jermain might be forced into early retirement

I can't wait for that fight either.. I'm a Taylor fan but i'd want Pavlik to beat anyone else.. it's a Catch-22 for me.

Last time I saw Rito, William Joppy destroyed him in one round. And I agree with Mick the stoppage was horrible

I guess this has to suck for you in a way but on the other hand you still have a little hope for Taylor knowing he almost stopped Pavlik early and we don't know what Taylor can do at 166/168? We don't know what Pavlik can do here either so I guess one can only speculate. I am rooting for Pavlik though.

I agree the Mora stoppage was bad but the fight was only ever going one way anyway.

Mora got the win and I guess importantly for him a (kind of) KO which will boost his confidence.

I imagine his next fight will be against David Banks if Banks fancies a move down in weight.

I wouldn't mind seeing that fight.
