This is the man that held back calzaghe from going to america until he was 37 yet chose to stick frank bruno in the ring with mike tyson for a second time.

Of course he aint all the ticket!!!

To be fair he's given us some memorable nights over the last 25 years so you can't knock him for that and he's pretty much single handedly RUN the UK scene for a similar time if you look at the facts.
Sorry but you can't take that away from him

    Ever since he lost Hatton!

Hatton and Haye are both English and probably a promoters wet dream. Warren doesn't have either. That to me says a lot.

Consider Calslappy is on his way soon, that only leaves Kahn, who imo has his work cut out to win a title at 135.

    Suppose there's always Matt Skelton

And Warrens contract with Khan runs out after the Gomez fight
If he doesn't deliver Amir a title shot then he'll jump ship imo
    GOLDEN BOY anyone

goldenboy would be his american promotional team. He`ll still need a warren/hearns/maloney etc to promote his contests over here!!

I think he'd benefit greatly by going across the pond. Better training, better sparring, better opposition etc...

Exactly,i don't see the need for Amir to be UK based at all anymore when everything he needs ie fights are stateside!!
He should swerve Warren after the Gomez fight and go for his dream imo.

Problem is, if Khan hadn't been with Warren he'd probably already have been knocked unconcious by now.. and be looking for a Warren-type to help him on the comeback trail

I actually can't even believe he's fighting Gomez. Am i the only one who see's the risk and no reward problem with this fight?

Gomez is unpredictable. I wouldn't put it past him to pull something spectacular out of his washed up arse.

Mark my words not signing Haye will end up being a good thing For Frank Warren.

He's going to bust spectacularly. If he's signed a 6 fight deal with GBP I predict he gets sparked in at least 3 of those fights.

He doesn't have a chin, he doesn't have stamina, and he's got an ego that makes him think he's better than he is and can hang with guys he really shouldn't be in the ring with.

It will end in tragedy for Haye, but jubilation for me.

Right now I'm an honourary 'Rock' fan and can't wait for Hasim to pull out the shock.

Skelton would put a beat down on Haye.

Khan shouldn't be with Warren IMO, he's already getting Khan a bad name by getting him worthless opponents when Khan can clearly do better.

The very reason you believe Gomez has a chance is why they can sell the fight.

Even though people KNOW he's SHOT TO BITS he is unpredictable enough to make it watchable.

The reality is - Khan 1st round KO
