    My coach and I are going to the other club for sparring again on Wednesday. Hopefully I'll do better this time. Although, I don't think I could do worse. I'm getting over whatever bug I had so this Wednesday will be a better indication of what I need to work on.

    I also have a 10k I'm running this Saturday, which I have not trained for at all. I'm just going to do it for the workout now rather than trying for a good time. It's cold here and we've gotten over a foot of snow the last couple of days so it's not like the course is going to be one that I could work on my speed anyway.

    The sparring went really well. I'm shooting for going up there 2 more times before my fights on the 21 & 22. But I'll probably only make it once.

    Tomorrow I'm running my first 10K. I'm not sure what to expect. It's mostly down hill which will be nice. But it is also going to be pretty snowy/icy/slushy depending on the weather. My only goal is to A: not walk, which I don't think will happen. and B: be done in under an hour.

    Yeah, I thought maybe you had the wrong date. One more week.

    10K tomorrow morning. It's midnight, I suppose I should sleep.
    My friend says he's aiming to do it in under 35 minutes! He better have a beer waiting for me then.

    Ugh! Triathlon training this morning was brutal. 30 minute bike and 30 minute run. (on 5 hours of sleep and a brutal plyometrics workout in boxing last night)

    This afternoon we're going over to the other club to spar. It will be my last sparring before my fight on Saturday so I hope I'm sharp.

    I've been lucky enough to get four bouts in the last month. I guess when it rains, it pours.

    Nothing else until May 16 though.

    Well that's awesome. Been slow here, but fighting in May also and hopefully 2 of them. Am glad lotsa fights started cropping up, know it was getting you. You look good in there so I am guessing you won't be bailing on us any time soon.

    Hey!

    I couldn't watch the vid because I'm at my mum's for easter trying to cope with her slow dial up connection but I gather congrats are in order!

    Glad to hear it's going well an you're keeping happily busy with training etc.

    Maybe it's best i can't see your bout because I'm pretty sure it'd just make me feel like a slow old biddy anyway!

    If you ever want to travel for a triathlon you might want to make your way down under - the boxing is crap but the triathlon scene in Oz is good and you might enjoy!

    I keep hearing Oz is the place to bike tour. Sounds like a blast. I'm going to have to put some research into that.

    Bike: 3 mi to the gym
    Treadmill: 10 minutes
    Heavy bag: 5 x 3min rounds
    Shadowboxing: 2 x 4min rounds
    Ab exercises
    Bike: 3 mi home
