    Default tyson will return

although tyson got hammered by a virtual unknown and has announced his retirement, i, along wiht a few others think he will return.

all the hype of a tyson comeback will start all over again with experts predicting a one round victory for tyson.
i am a great fan of his and do not want to see him humiliated again but would love to see him at least, retire with a bang instead of a washed up bum.

wait 3 months and then we'll see.

hey, anyone noticed how easy it is for tyson to get cut nowadays?
in the past, he never bled. Douglas punched away at him for several rounds but all tyson got was a swollen eye.

but after his release from jail, his body seemed more vulnerable than ever

As I see it, Tyson has nothing to gain by stepping back in the boxing ring.
The man owes over $40 million to various creditors.
Tyson's purse for the McBride fight; $5 million, he may end up with $250.K.
    McBride purse $150K.

Tyson was in great shape, he could of won the fight. Tyson is a tough "son of a gun" He and McBride fooled everyone.

McBride presently is a self promoted and self managed.

The two of them are as thick as theifs.

if he was fit and could have won then why didnt he?

i agree that he ddint look that badly hurt but if tyson wanted to quit, at least quit with a last victory.

why didnt he win if he could have?

Tyson has not wanted to fight as a prize fighter since being defeated twice by Holyfield. His habits out of the ring went out of control when he was married Robin(Robbing)Givens and her mom Ruthless Roper came on the scene and brought Don King and him together. although Mr. King has brought us sopme great events, his fighters often meet their financial end with him and there is psychological damage that seems to come out of nowhere. Mr. Tyson has been on a different road since prison and I think that if his debt were wiped away tommorrow, he would not even come close to the Tyson Holyfield met that night. Mr. Tyson as someone else put it in this forum should become a trainer instead with the knowledge he has he can not only train his fighters in the manly art byut also the pitfals he was in as well. Mr. Tyson is not dumb, he was intelligent enough to be a champ in a good era so he got sidetracked, burned, dragged by demons and breathed upon by the dragons of temptation. In other words he needed guidance. Return, maybe, win, doubtful. Am I a fan? Yes I am. I don't want to see him hurt or humiliated by fighters he could have fought five of in the same night with a broken hand and won by a first round KO.

    He's a spent force.
    He doesn't scare anyone anymore.
He hasn't scared anyone for years now.
I think the last person he scared was Frank Bruno.

Tyson only owes just over $20 million in debt now. The IRS has already been taking his money.

Anyway, if he is going to fight like that. He needs to quit. Tyson is one of my favorites, but I'm sick of seeing it. Either he's going to fight or go act, but this quitting and losing to bums has to go. Right now, he is still probably the biggest let-down in sports since Len Bias or Michael Ray Robinson and their problem was drugs, so he doesn't even have that excuse. Therefore, Tyson is probably the biggest let-down.

As long as there's money to be made, Tyson knows where to look. He knows that he can still make money, and he still is a wanted fighter. You don't have to be a contender to want to knock him out, and there's plenty of fighters that want the money, and want the bragging rights.

Unlike Evel Kenevel he didn't really make a big impression before he hung up the gloves. A selected fighter who could've had Gollata go the distance with him took the withered tyson down in 6 rounds. Tyson's knees are failing him, his strength is fading, and his public-esteems is all but flushed down the toilet.

He has his regrets and he has his debts, he'll come back to boxing, with success or not,
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

because tysons image was based on his supposed invincibility, his loss to douglas and holyfield was very damaging for him.

other fighters can lose time and time again but their careers will not be deemed as "over". critics will not start saying hes "a washed up bum" or things like that.

but many people have said tysons career was over from his first defeat to douglas. Just one defeat and his career is over?
tysons ferocious style and early knockpouts made him hugely successful and gave him an aura of invincibility.
but that invincibility also proved to be his downfall because once shattered, people write him off as overhyped and washed up. And its only one defeat.
