What a war it would be! I highly doubt Mirko would duck anyone,look at his resume. 3 wins over Barnett and was mauling Nogueira plus a ton of other good wins. I hope Mirko returns to his best but I actually think the Demolition man looks good at HW. It would be awesome, and with DREAM being the number 1 MMA org,they can make it happen!

Kind of silly to say he ducked him. Alistair campaigned mostly at LHW not HW and Mirko fought everyone that Pride or UFC put in front of him not to mention some of the best names in the game. Overeem could never seem to string together multiple top wins to earn a shot at Mirko anyway. He was up and down his whole career. Alistair was a HUGE LHW but it was obvious the weight cutting hurt him. He always started out on fire then gassed. He has the size and firepower to fight at HW and I think not having to cut weight will help him. Even for a older version of Mirko this is a tough fight, but the CroCop we have seen lately might not pull this one out.

lebanner, who was gonna fight cro cop at DREAM.5 is scheduled to fight schilt in k1 on the 29th, so maybe if thats a damaging fight he will pull out and overeem can step in, but ralek gracie also said after he won last night that he wanted to do the grappling match against cro cop that was originally scheduled for last night
