Poor sod. I can't believe he's had the career he had and he's made so little money. He should be nicely retired by now.

It's so sad that Castillo has to fight for the money still. I know everyone was upset about him not making weight 3 times now and having fights cancelled twice (he also failed weight against Timothy Bradley) but the commissions were overzealous in fining him in as much as they did and now we have a great fighter fighting way past his best days.

Sad story hopefully he can put some wins together and get another big paycheck.

Lujan has been sparring with Tony, so he's bound to be in shape.

As for Castillo. How shot is he?

Its a a shame a fighter of his quality and has been in some great fights over the year has to fight because he is skint.

I think Castillo would still be able to win a belt at 140 if he could make the weight. I reckon he'd beat Bradley.

I know the weight thing was a joke but when he weighed in against Timothy Bradley, he couldn't get below 148 lbs, so maybe him making weight is again a question mark especially if he suffers any sort of an injury (which is what I think he claimed against Bradley)

I think at this stage in Castillo's career Bradley will out work him and take a UD if the fight ever happens but i dout Castillo will ever make 140 again.

At this point, when someone signs to fight Castillo, they should just waive the weight limit. If he comes in overweight, it's not like he'd be more dangerous, he'd just be more out of shape.

Good point he will tire alot faster and it will save you havin to go into another training camp for another fighter, also keep you active.

Lujan TKO, my cousin was at JLC last fight in Mexicali he said JLC looked like a mummy and went for several rounds without doing much.
The opponent himself was also just moving around with an occasional jab.

I think Lujans got it a little bit more then JLC.

    Still a decent enough fighter

went 12rounds with mayweather and lasted 4 against the mighty hatton.

Id still pay to see him!
