    When I have sessions at the boxing gym it means I do punching bag, those annoying resistance bikes, circuit training, etc.
    Thats good, the club sounds good for fitness.

    But perhaps a little strength training on the side.

    As Wesrman suggested, bodyweight exercises are fantastic.
    Heres a great thread here on the subject;

    I do that stuff aswell at the gym. Also things like pushups, situps, burpees, dorsal raise, snake press ups, etc.

    I find the snake one to be the nastiest.

    I don't use Burpees at all, although a trainer I greatly respect highly touts them.
    And I must admit, although I'm familiar with all the rest I can't say I've heard of the snake press.

    I'm guessing it's the "divebomber" variation, sort of like a snake I guess.

    The snake is a situp with a snaking motion added to it. Involves keeping your hands and feet planted while moving your head followed by your torso in a forward downward motion then going backup in an upward forward motion. Move your torso back to it's original position and start again. I'm no good at explaining things. So sorry if it doesn't make sense.

    Sounds weird!
    Its only recently I've really got into bodyweight exercises I found them a chore in the past, all I liked was running and boxing, but I'm investing a lot of time in weight and bodyweight training now.

    Salty is right it's a variation of the divebomber.

    I weighted myself the other day. My old weight a few months back before I started training was about 147 lbs. My new weight is now 141.5 lbs.

    Should I try to gain weight to stay in welterweight or should I drop a bit of weight and stay in light welterweight?

    Well lets see it's the name of one of my favourite books. In RPG games I generally play the earth wielding mages IE geomancers, etc.
