Calzaghe will probably come down to middle next year after he's moved up to light heavy so possibly Calzaghe or maybe Ouma he was pretty impressive last time out although he lost & maybe Floyd could move up from 140 by next year , you never know.Â

We're talkin MIDDLEWEIGHT here, and Floyd says he's stopping at 154. SO he's off the list.

Anyway, why isn't Sturm, or Ward up there?

If pbf went up then him possibly. I think winky will retire due to no one wanting to fight him. I voted for kassim as hes young talented and dont let his recent lost fool you he will learn from his mistakes. He needs a better jab and defense then my fellow boxing fanatics he will be great !

Yeah, by next year Floyd's only got to put another 20lbs on to be the king of the middles 06, he should do that no problem if he wants to, after that 07 he can probably go up another 20lbs or maybe he'll go back down to 140lbs, you never know, stranger things have happened in boxing, you know.

I'm wondering...are we all underestimating Armenian 25 year old prospect Arthur Abraham? I mean, he pretty much easily defeated Howard Eastman this past weekend...& Eastman is not an easy man to beat.

    Any takers on that opinion?

From what I saw it was a case of Eastman turning old rather that Abraham being the real deal.

Strum is the force in Europe at 160 at the moment IMO. He has the best chance of beating Taylor/Hopkins in 2006, Abraham could do with another year or two fighting some more contenders like Joppy or Soliman.

Glad to see that someone else recognizes promise in Sturm. He is well rounded in his game.

I really wanted to see Abraham vs Eastman. Such a shame for Eastman, he's got talent...he's just to...ummmmmmm...slow?

Edouard beat taylor in the amatures and look what short work taylor made of him! Sturm will be in the same boat!
