    Default Who Do You Trust?

Everybody deals with promoters trainers, matchmakers and managers
Who do you have absolute faith in?

I'll even start,Clairton and John,Airtight and Steve,Mullens, despite what people tell me Jerry Thomas(it was a joke Jerry,I know you read this too,and you know I have faith in you)

Who in this buisness do you think,"Their word is bond"

My dad and my coach. My coach teaches me boxing. My dad is responsible for all my training and diet. Both of them listen to my concerns, and offer their own.

I will listen to many people, ultimately, but basically all the info. I get I filter thru them. I listen to their thoughts and weigh all factors and make my own decisions. So far so good.

What got me thinking about it,is Ive had two conversations in the last two days, that started with "Can I ask you an honest question.........."
And the gist of that question was,"Why are you doing this for me?"
And the honest awnser,is I hate seeing anyone who works their ass off in this sport,or in life in general, get screwed.
So it got me to think, who in the sport do I trust?
And maybe for a change highlighting the people in the sport, you can trust, would be a nice change of pace.
Everybody enjoys Kvetching about the Warren's or Goodsons of the sport,I figured Id give props to their opposites.
I put it on ask the trainer, because a big part of boxing is getting booked, its not just hitting people, its getting a contract to hit people as well.
You can be the best fighter on earth, but if you dont get the phone call, nobodies going to know it.
